About KOA
Bagley Wood  Fun Run
Kennington Overseas Aid was founded in 1968 by the three Kennington Churches, with the aim of helping people less fortunate than ourselves.  Each year we choose a project provided by an established overseas charity, usually one working in the third world, as the target of our fundraising efforts.

The emphasis is generally on sustainable development

At the AGM on November 8th, the chairman announced that the committee has decided, after much heartache, that our Golden Anniversary will also be KOA's LAST YEAR.
Will you help us celebrate in 2018 by making our events and fundraising a huge success so that we Go Out with a Bang? We believe Kennington has been the only village in the country to raise funds for an overseas project every year. We have helped hundreds of thousands of people to help themselves often by providing simple tools or empowering them and giving them a voice.

This year's project is for Tools for Self Reliance

NEWS An update on Nasio Trust's water project   Researchers at the University of Bath have come up with a simple colour changing test that will quickly allow water to be tested for excessive amounts of fluoride, and The Nasio Trust is going to help them field test it. See here for details, and a video.

We have received a report from Standing Voice about their Vision Clinic in Daar-es-Salaam  In June 2017. This is the  kind of event that this year's fundraising will support. See here for the report.
