About KOA
Bagley Wood  Fun Run
Kennington Overseas Aid was founded in 1968 by the three Kennington Churches, with the aim of helping people less fortunate than ourselves.  Each year we choose a project provided by an established overseas charity, usually one working in the third world, as the target of our fundraising efforts.

The emphasis is generally on sustainable development

At the AGM on November 8th, the chairman announced that the committee has decided, after much heartache, that our Golden Anniversary will also be KOA's LAST YEAR.
Will you help us celebrate in 2018 by making our events and fundraising a huge success so that we Go Out with a Bang? We believe Kennington has been the only village in the country to raise funds for an overseas project every year. We have helped hundreds of thousands of people to help themselves often by providing simple tools or empowering them and giving them a voice.

This year's project is for Tools for Self Reliance

Here are the Open Gardens programme and map! Open Gardens Day will include a floral display in St Swithun’s church. If you would like to contribute flowers or an arrangement for this please contact Alison Peedell on 01865-730961.
NEWS KOA supporters will be saddened to hear that Sir Roger Bannister died on 3 March 2018.  He came to start our Fun Run in 2013, the year that we raised funds for the Childrens Radio Foundation, a charity headed by his daughter Charlotte Bannister-Parker. See here for more.

We have received a report from Standing Voice on the Vision Clinics we raised funds for in 2017
